2 to 3 years
The children in the 2-year-old program exhibit boundless energy and curiosity. During this stage they learn to communicate and express themselves. The Creative Curriculum used in the classroom balances the teacher-planned activities and child-initiated learning. A brief gathering time gives the children a chance for more structured music and movement play. After snack time, the children spend part of the morning on the playground.
The children in this program spend some time engaged in free play in the classroom, at which time they are free to choose from a variety of activities, such as art projects, reading in a quiet area, building with blocks, play-dough or enjoying any other activity proper of their age. Our professional staff supervises all of the above activities.
